This prescription will help to relieve symptoms such as:
- Weak stream

- The need to urinate frequently or urgently
How does Dutasteride and Tamsulosin Hydrochloride work?
Dutasteride and Tamsulosin Hydrochloride block the action of an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. This enzyme changes testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate gland to grow.
Tamsulosin Hydrochloride helps relax the muscle in the prostate gland. It also helps at the opening of the bladder. This may help increase the flow of urine or decrease the symptoms.
Dutasteride will reduce the size of an enlarged prostate. But the effect lasts only as long as the drug is taken. If it is already stopped, the prostate begins to grow again.
