How does Ezallor (Rosuvastatin) work?
Ezallor (Rosuvastatin) works by slowing the production of cholesterol in the body. It is to lessen the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries. This medication also blocks the blood flow to the brain, heart, and other parts of the body.
This drug may take 2 to 4 weeks to take effect. It is after you start taking this medication.
Why use Ezallor (Rosuvastatin)?
Ezallor (Rosuvastatin) belongs to the group of medications known as ‘statins’. This product has Rosuvastatin as an active ingredient. It is a synthetic lipid-lowering agent. It is also slightly soluble in water and methanol, off-white to light yellow powder. This medicine comes as a capsule for oral use. This is available in the strengths of 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg.
How to use Ezallor (Rosuvastatin)?
This medication is to be taken by mouth with a full glass of water. It is usually taken once a day. You may take it with or without food. To help you remember, take it at the same time every day. The dosage is based on your condition and response to the treatment.
If you are taking a type of antacid, take it at least 2 hours after this medication. Follow the prescription of your doctor very carefully.

- Limit alcoholic beverages. Daily use of alcohol may increase your risk for liver problems especially when combined with this drug.
