General Information

Feldene (Piroxicam) is indicated to reduce swelling, pain, and joint stiffness. It is caused by osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. Arthritis is an inflammation of one or more of your joints. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are common types of arthritis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities.

How does Feldene (Piroxicam) work?

Feldene (Piroxicam) works by decreasing the levels of prostaglandins. Those are chemicals that are responsible for fever, pain, and inflammation.
