Tibsovo (Ivosidenib) is indicated for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It is a certain type of blood cell cancer. Tibsovo (Ivosidenib) increases the levels of 2-hydroxyglutarate in leukemia cells. In which it leads to an increased number of improperly differentiated white blood cells. R132H and R132C substitutions are the most common types of mutations of the IDH1 enzyme. This drug inhibits R132 substitutions in the IDH1 enzyme and counters the uncontrolled growth of leukemia cells.

Tibsovo (Ivosidenib) is available in 250 mg strength. It is supplied as film-coated tablets for oral use. This medication contains an active ingredient of Ivosidenib. It is an inhibitor of mutations of the IDH1 enzyme. This was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
How to use Tibsovo (Ivosidenib)?
Tibsovo (Ivosidenib) is usually taken once a day. It is to be taken by mouth with a full glass of water. You may take each dose with or without food. Do not take this medication with a high-fat meal. Swallow the medicine as a whole. Do not break or chew it.
The dosage is based on your condition and response. Remember to take it at the same time every day. Do not increase the dose without consulting your doctor. If you vomit after taking a dose, do not take another dose. Call your doctor right away.
