Each capsule contains 75 mg, 100 mg, 125 mg, and 150 mg strengths. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has already approved this medication.
How to use Tofranil – PM (Imipramine Pamoate)?
The recommended dosage is based on your medical condition and response. It is important to take it exactly as it is prescribed. Remember to take it at the same time and in the same way each day. Do not take more often or more than the prescription.
This medication is usually taken once a day. Take each dose by mouth and with a full glass of water. You may take it with or without food.
If you are using this drug to treat bed-wetting, it is usually taken an hour before bedtime. If your child frequently wets the bed early at night, it may be given earlier in a separate dose. It may be one dose in the afternoon and one at bedtime.
